Life will never be the same when you start to meditate, I can assure you of that. Start now, because it will change your life. It is so easy to find all sorts of excuses why you can’t. The most used ones are ‘I have no time’ and ‘I can’t sit still’.

What I have learnt over the years, that you don’t actually have to sit in lotus pose for hours on end to get amazing results in your life. Basically, there are two parts to meditation. I have coined them ‘Mindful Being’ and ‘Mindful Living’. When you are mindfully being you are sitting quietly connected to the present moment through an object, usually your breath. That is my preferred focal point. However, you can choose any object, such as music, a candle, or on a part of your body.
When you are mindfully living, you are totally present in what you are doing right at that moment. You will be surprised how much more you get done in your day with so much more energy. Furthermore, you begin to enjoy ‘stuff’ you don’t normally like doing, such as house cleaning, ironing, or any chore for that matter.

Feeling relaxed in your body and calm in your mind
Easing and removing constant tension, anxiety, fear and just feeling unsettled
Reducing those niggly headaches, aches and pains
Lowering blood pressure and pulse rate
Your breathing becomes more fluid, loose and flowing
Your body and muscles begin to feel softer and relaxed
Letting go of feeling rushed and frenetic
Feeling peaceful and at ease in amongst the chaos
Having control again over your thoughts (usually negative)
Having a clear and an alert state of mind
Coming back to having fun in your life full of love and laughter
and so much more
