Tapping is what was traditionally called EFT – Emotional Freedom Technique – an energy based modality based on the energy flow in our bodies called meridians.
It is founded on traditional Chinese acupuncture and acupressure which are known for supporting the healing of the body and blocking pain. Tapping uses some of these points to do the same thing – only you use your own fingers to stimulate the points.
And like with meditation it helps release endorphins to help create a sense of well-being and tranquillity.
