There is nothing more powerful than forgiving hurt, pain, anger, or any resentment you may be feeling not only towards another person but also towards yourself. Doing a forgiveness meditation on a regular basis will help you be able to let go of all that negative emotion you are holding onto. It takes courage to sit quietly and feel the intense emotions. It is so much easier to keep yourself distracted moving you away from pain. Forgiving doesn’t mean condoning. It simply means opening your heart to allowing love and compassion to flow in.
