How positive daily reminders changed my life

We all have moments when we feel low and need a boost. Positive daily reminders are a wonderful way to keep you in check with your values and what is important to you in your life. They are little nudges to remind you of who amazing you are when you least feel it.

Daily reminders are powerful when you believe them

However, what I also learnt over the years that I also had to believe and feel them. I couldn’t understand why I wasn’t experiencing all this positivity I was meant to. Now I do. If the daily reminder you have chosen doesn’t resonate with you, it won’t be effective.

Having said that you need to start somewhere. First of all start with one that resonates with you and you want to feel, even if it makes you feel uncomfortable to start with. Tune in to how it makes you feel. And once you have established that you are then able to see what is holding you back from believing and feeling it.

As you become more optimistic you’ll find that you feel happier, healthier, more productive, sleep better, have more fun, feel joyful, and able to cope with whatever life throws at you. Furthermore, it has an effect on those around you. You can’t help smiling when someone near you is. It is infectious. There is a skip in your step that makes you feel playful and confident as you walk out the door.

Kiss gently someone you love
Hold the hand of someone you care about
Join hearts and hug someone who least expects it
Moisturise a part of your body you neglect (mine are my feet and elbows) and nourish it
Look into your eyes and say hello to your soul – and remember you’re a human being not a human doing
Be the best person I can be today
Breathe and be mindful
Take time out for me
