Imagine lifting the weight off your shoulders of years of pain and hurt. Is that even possible? It sure is with tapping.

supercharge your life with tapping

Tapping is such an easy and effective way to supercharge your life. It doesn’t take long to learn. Furthermore, it can be used anywhere anytime for anything.

All I can say is that it has certainly changed my life. And I’m sure it will change yours.

Tapping is another word for EFT – Emotional Freedom Technique – an acupressure and affirmation technique that works on calming your energy flow and creating healing in the body, mind, heart and soul.

According to physicist Bruce Lipton, author of The Biology of Belief, EFT is also a way to “supercharge” deep emotional healing.

Interestingly, you focus on the negative being held in your body to find out what is being stored. Initially, I found this difficult as everything else points to the positive.

So why do you need to focus on the negative?

It’s because the tapping sequence is used to reprogramme those negative belief patterns to life-affirming ones. You will be surprised what can come up. Most of the time you aren’t even aware of the negative beliefs you hold onto as adults formed in childhood.

I then found once I had worked through the deep issues, I was then also able to focus on enhancing the positive. The emotions I wanted more of.

When you tap, you begin to recognise your feelings, fears, blocks and stories. Tapping guides you to ways of releasing them.

You’ll find whatever has been bothering you begins to ease in intensity. And to dissipate.

What you’ve been holding on to loses its sting and stranglehold over you.

Releasing the old and embracing you opens you up to a whole new world. One of confidence. Love. Acceptance.

Tapping takes you out of the past and brings you into the now. You begin to see how certain behaviours and grievances are either no longer appropriate and beneficial in your life.

And it takes you out of the future where you feel worry and fear of what might happen. It teaches you how to focus on the present. Where life happens.

is it that simple?

Yes, tapping is that simple. Most of all, it is very effective with long-lasting results. It can be used to release emotional and/or physical pain, anywhere anytime.

In addition, it is safe, gentle and non-evasive. Finally, it creates a life full of joy, happiness and fun which is what we all want from our lives.

However, I will point out that dealing with an issue may take time. I know for me some of my more stubborn issues have taken a while to release.

Even then, I thought nothing much was happening. And then voila. A turnaround.

What can tapping help you with?

Tapping can help in so many ways. Physically, mentally and emotionally. In fact, how it helps you in life is exhaustive.

More you use it, more you’ll see this. Once you overcome any anxieties about starting and getting it right, you’ll wonder why you stopped yourself.

In fact, that is one of the issues tapping can help you with is feeling unsure. So many of us put things off because we feel aren’t good enough.

Or there is a fear of failure. Getting it right. Making a mistake. Looking foolish.

What else can it help you with? Here is a start. And you may also need to consult a professional.

emotional triggers, such as guilt, anger, shame, hurt, jealousy

physical pain. I found it useful after a car accident when I couldn’t seem to overcome some physical issues. It helped me look at what else was still underlying the pain. And how I could learn to trust my body again and allow my muscles to relax as I was now safe. I used this as an adjunct to the medical support I was getting.

It helps release general tension held in your muscles. As Bruce Lipton (author of ‘Biology of Belief’) says: ‘when the body is in a state of stress, the cells go into protection mode. This means that the body heals more slowly when we are stressed. The stress needs to be released so the cells can return to their natural healing and regeneration mode, which is when lasting pain relief becomes possible’.

mental triggers, such as stress, anxiety, phobias, depression, PTSD, poor concentration, worry, inability to concentrate

Where and when you can use tapping:

  • when you wake up
  • go to bed
  • watching TV
  • under the shower
  • waiting for an appointment
  • with meditation
  • at your computer
  • in a meeting

As already mentioned, initially, you’ll focus mainly on the negatives. However, there will be a time when you will also focus on the positive.

I love the fact that I now tap on anchoring in positive feelings or setting my intentions for the day. It becomes limitless.

You are now supercharging your life.
